Dr. Adebayo Agbejule joined the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences in 1994, having previously held academic positions at Finnish College for SME at Kauhava, University of Vaasa and the University of Colorado at Denver. In addition, Dr. Agbejule visited the University of North Carolina at Chapel as a post doctoral fellow from March 2006 to August 2006.
His research and professional interests include design and implementation of management accounting systems, research methods in management, organizational change, institutional theory, business innovations in energy and ICT in developing countries, and teaching and learning styles in tertiary institutions. He has published in referred articles as well as articles for professional bodies.
Recent research project includes EXIMIN which aims to develop business innovation system for Finnish companies doing business in Africa. Adebayo recently initiated the African Competence and Innovation Centre (ACIC), and coordinating the entrance exams for students from Africa interested in study in Finland. Currently, developing a special curriculum for students interested in energy education.
